Visit from Literacy Lady

Today we kicked off our new unit in Reader's Workshop with a visit from Literacy Lady.  She is a good friend of Super Reader!  This unit is all about reading super powers.  We will learning lots of new strategies and building our sight word power.  We are becoming super readers!

Upcoming events:

November 17       SMS spaghetti/bingo
November 21       Thanksgiving breakfast.  All are invited to join us in the classroom from 8-8:30 for a breakfast treat and a few holiday songs.

November 22-24   No school Thanksgiving break
November 27-December 1 SMS book fair
