Exploring 3D shapes

This week in K we:

• are exploring 3D shapes
• continuing to create maps of our zoo
• measured out our animals and made real size models
• played on a balance beam
• began our non fiction writing unit
• practiced our snap words
• created our own short vowel songs
• worked collaboratively to build roller coasters

Researching in K

We have begun a research unit with our K-2 science buddy band.  Ask your Seal what animal they have chosen and some interesting facts.  We will be gathering lots of information about habitats, eating habits and working closely in our small groups to present.
