We love, love, love the book I Need My Monster by Amanda Noll. It is about a little boy who needs his monster to fall asleep at night. When his monster Gabe goes on vacation, lots of monsters try to take his place but there is no sleep for Ethan. We have read and enjoyed it many times since the beginning of school. Imagine how happy we were to read her newest book Hey That's My Monster! This time Gabe has to help Ethan's little sister fall asleep. There are silly characters and funny illustrations. We are hoping that the author will write a third book in the series. To help her along, we created our own monsters that she could use. We will send her their pictures along with our note and story ideas. We hope that we hear back soon!
