SMS graden
We spent some time in the SMS garden observing insects, discovering veggies like brussel sprouts and picking pole beans. The beans will be dried out and used as instruments in Music class. We are so lucky to have the garden just outside our class!

It was so nice to meet so many of you at the curriculum open house!
We had a great time celebrating Dot Day on Friday. The children created a beautiful class mural, completely painted out of dots! They painted pictures with q-tips (dot painting), watched an interview with Peter Reynolds, author of The Dot, Ish and many more books, attended a school wide morning meeting, sang The Dot Song, used markers and water to create dots on coffee filters and created a picture out of a "magic dot".
