November 22 Newsletter
We are learning about

- meeting the characters in our books
- math fact families
- writing realistic fiction
- Thanksgiving
- interesting story starters
- stopping and jotting to hold our thinking in readers workshop
Some activities we did
- created turkey fact families
- played rhyming and syllable Thanksgiving games
- began a number scroll
- used oil pastels to draw cards
- played with new Thanksgiving apps
- wrote our own realistic fiction books
- met lots of new characters in lots of books
